Operation Details
Before your surgery, we will request photos to assess your unique case and plan your procedure effectively. You will also have a video consultation with your surgeon to discuss your goals, medical history, and any concerns. This ensures the surgeon fully understands your expectations. Once you arrive, a final in-person assessment will confirm every detail before proceeding. Clear pre-operative instructions will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for the surgery. Breast implant surgery is performed under general anesthesia to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. The surgery typically lasts between 1 to 2 hours. Your surgeon will make precise incisions in areas such as the breast crease, around the areola, or under the arm, depending on the chosen method. The implants, made of either silicone or saline, will then be carefully placed either above or beneath the chest muscle to achieve your desired look. Once the implants are positioned, the incisions will be meticulously closed with sutures or surgical tape. Post-surgery, it is crucial to rest and follow your surgeonβs detailed aftercare instructions. Swelling, soreness, and bruising are normal and will gradually subside over the next few weeks. You will need to wear a supportive surgical bra to aid in the healing process. Follow-up appointments will be scheduled to monitor your recovery and ensure the best possible outcome. Most patients can return to light activities within 1 week and resume normal daily tasks within 2-3 weeks. Full recovery and settling of the implants typically take a few months. Rest assured, our team will guide and support you throughout your recovery journey.
How it works
Before the procedure begins, you will be placed under general anesthesia to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the surgery. Your surgeon will discuss the anesthesia options with you during your consultation to determine the best approach for your needs. Once the anesthesia has taken effect, precise incisions will be made, depending on the agreed placement method (in the breast crease, around the areola, or under the arm). The implants, made of either silicone or saline, will then be positioned above or beneath the chest muscle to achieve the desired enhancement. After ensuring symmetry and balance, the incisions will be carefully closed, and you will be provided with a supportive bra to aid in healing.
